Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and, if you use Apple or Google sign-in, the name those services share.
• Content: the ideas, answers and reports you create, and the text of documents you attach. Attached files are deleted as soon as their text is read.
• Usage and billing data needed to run the service and enforce plan limits.

How your ideas are processed

To produce a report, your idea, answers and the text of any attached documents are sent to our AI model providers (currently Google Gemini; alternatively Anthropic Claude or other providers we list here). While Venture Vetter runs on a provider's free tier, that provider may use submitted content to improve its products. We show this notice at submission whenever a free tier is active. On paid tiers, providers do not use your content to train their models.

Error monitoring and analytics

We use Sentry to detect errors and PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand which features are used. They receive technical details such as the page, browser and error, plus a pseudonymous account id when you are signed in. They never receive your ideas, answers, reports, email address or name, and we don't set analytics cookies or record sessions.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Reports are private unless you create a share link, which you can revoke at any time. We use processors for hosting, database, email, payments, error monitoring and analytics, bound by data-processing terms.

Your rights

You can access, export and delete your data. Deleting your account in Settings permanently deletes your evaluations and PDFs.
