A verdict, not a pep talk
The score is recomputed in code from fixed weights, and weak evidence caps the verdict: an untested idea cannot earn a “go”.
- No-go0–30The core assumptions do not hold. Save the money.
- Pivot30–45Something here works; the current shape does not.
- Validate first45–60Promising but untested. Run the experiments first.
- Go with conditions60–75Build, once the named conditions are met.
- Go75–100The evidence supports building now.
From a paragraph to a decision
Three steps. You stay in control of what we evaluate.
- 1
Describe your idea
A paragraph is enough: who has the problem, what you offer, how it makes money. Attach a plan or a model if you have one.
- 2
Confirm what we understood
We restate the idea and ask only the questions that would change the answer, so we evaluate the idea you actually have.
- 3
Get the verdict and the plan
A score out of 100, a clear verdict, and the full report: market, advantage, unit economics, strategy, execution and risk.

Nine stages, one argument
Each stage builds on the last: barriers become strategy choices, success factors become activities, activities become the risks we watch.
S0Intake
Are we evaluating the idea you actually have? We restate it and ask only the questions that would change the answer.
S1Problem & customer
Is there a painful problem for a reachable customer? Jobs-to-be-done, value proposition fit, riskiest assumptions.
S2Market & environment
How big is the obtainable market, what helps and what blocks you? Bottom-up sizing, five forces, barriers and enablers.
S3Competitive advantage
How do you win and can it last? Positioning, VRIO, activity fit and explicit trade-offs.
S4Business model
Does each customer make money? Unit economics, break-even, three scenarios and the variables that move them.
S5Strategy
Mission, strategy, critical success factors and the activities that deliver them — linked by explicit cause and effect.
S6Execution
Who does what, when, with what money: a stage-gated roadmap, a 90-day plan, OKRs and a control dashboard.
S7Risk
How does this fail? A pre-mortem plus the risks in every causal link, with early-warning signals.
S8Verdict
A weighted score out of 100, an evidence-confidence rating and the next steps, computed by fixed rules.
See what every number rests on
A tool that agrees with whatever you type is worth little. Every claim in a report carries a tag, so you know which numbers were researched and which you should test first.
- SSourced
- From research we actually performed, with a link.
- UUser-provided
- Something you told us.
- EEstimate
- Our reasoned estimate, derivation shown.
- AAssumption
- A hypothesis you should test first.
Why not a free deep-research report?
The same nine-stage method every time: every claim tagged with its evidence, a stop when the idea fails early, and a side-by-side view when you revise it. In English and Arabic, on the web.
A deep-research report
A Venture Vetter report
Method · A deep-research report
Plans its research around your prompt. What gets covered depends on what you ask, and there is no fixed rubric unless you write one and reuse it.
Method · A Venture Vetter report
Runs the same nine stages in the same order for every idea and every run, with the same scoring rules. Two ideas, or two versions of one idea, are judged on the same terms.
Score · A deep-research report
If you ask for a score, the number is the model’s own judgement. No fixed rule stands behind it unless you supply one.
Score · A Venture Vetter report
The stages score eight dimensions from 1 to 5. Code then computes the total from fixed, published weights and maps it to a verdict by fixed bands. If the model’s own verdict differs, the computed one stands and we record the difference.
Pushing back · A deep-research report
It is a conversation. You can rephrase, argue and ask again, and the answer can move with you.
Pushing back · A Venture Vetter report
The scoring rules do not change with how the idea is phrased or how you push back. To move the score, change the idea or bring new evidence, and run it again.
Stopping early · A deep-research report
Writes the report you asked for. It has no built-in point at which it stops because the idea failed a basic test.
Stopping early · A Venture Vetter report
After the first analysis stage there is a gate. If there is no painful problem for a reachable customer, the evaluation stops there: you get the reasons, no score, and it does not count against your monthly allowance.

Is this a guarantee my business will work?
No. It is a structured, evidence-tagged evaluation that shows where an idea is weak while fixing it is cheap. It is not legal, tax or investment advice.
Where do the numbers come from?
Every material number carries a tag: sourced, user-provided, estimate or assumption. Nothing is presented as researched unless it was. The final score is recomputed in code from fixed weights, not taken from the model.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. Submit your idea in Arabic and the whole report comes back in Arabic, laid out right to left.
What happens to my idea?
Your evaluations are private to your account. You can share a read-only link, revoke it at any time, or delete your account and everything in it.
How long does an evaluation take?
Usually 10 to 20 minutes. You can leave the page: progress is saved, and we email you when the report is ready.
Can I attach a business plan or a financial model?
Yes. Attach up to three PDF, Word or Excel files (scanned PDFs too). We read the text into the evaluation and then delete the files.
Why not use a deep-research report from an assistant I already pay for?
For a broad, cited overview of a market, do. Venture Vetter adds a fixed method: the same nine stages and scoring rules every time, a score computed in code, evidence tags and an early stop. We have not run a head-to-head test against any assistant. Read the full answer
